Kitchen Medicine Foundations: A 2-Day Live Herbal Workshop
Live Classes May 7th 11am HST & May 8th 11am HST 2026 on Zoom (1.5 to 2 hours each class)
Kitchen Medicine Foundations is a live, hands-on introduction to working with herbs in a way that feels simple, grounded, and immediately applicable to your everyday life.
Over two days together, you’ll learn how to begin building a small, functional herbal practice right from your kitchen.
We’ll focus on a core group of essential herbs, how to prepare them properly, and how to use them both internally and externally to support common home health needs.
This workshop blends foundational knowledge with real-time medicine making. On the first day, you’ll learn how to work with herbal infusions — one of the most important and versatile preparations in herbalism. On the second day, we’ll move into creating remedies together, including an infused oil, a healing salve, and a traditional cough syrup.
This is not a theory-based class. It is designed to help you move from learning about herbs to actually working with them — with confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection to your kitchen as a place of care. Whether you’re just beginning or looking to strengthen your foundation, this workshop will give you practical skills you can return to again and again.
