JKB Herbal Summer Camp
8 Weeks of Kitchen Herbalism for Children (Ages 4–14)
Live • 1 Day a Week • 1 Hour Classes • June + July
Classes will be held live on Zoom Tuesdays at 9am HST. We begin June 2nd, 2026.
This summer herbal series is designed to help children reconnect with the natural world through hands-on medicine making, gardening, kitchen creativity, sensory learning, and seasonal rhythms.
The classes are playful, educational, practical, and deeply grounding — giving children an opportunity to learn about herbs the way humans always have: by touching them, smelling them, tasting them, growing them, and creating with them.
Each class includes live 1-hour teaching, hands-on herbal projects, printable recipe and activity sheets, herbal safety and plant identification woven into lessons, seasonal folklore and stories, nature connection, and optional garden or outdoor activities.
This summer, children will step into the world of kitchen herbalism through live classes filled with storytelling, gardening, herbal remedies, kitchen projects, seasonal crafts, and nature exploration.
Designed to be affordable and accessible for families, this course helps children build confidence in the kitchen while developing a deeper relationship with plants, wellness, and the natural world.
One enrollment includes the entire family — all siblings welcome.
